Only Hearts Club is a global community for mothers of one — centred on the woman, not the child or the family structure.
But it's about more than family size.
It's about women having agency over their decisions. It's about owning that taking care of yourself — always, but especially in motherhood — is not selfish. It's about knowing that you don't owe anyone an explanation for what your life looks like or how you are choosing to live it.
Whether you have one child by choice, by circumstance, or by something in between — this is your space.

I'm Jackie — founder of Only Hearts Club, international development professional, lifelong runner, and mom to a five-year-old who keeps me on my toes.
I built this community because I needed it.
I looked around and couldn't find a space that was centred on the woman — not the child, not the family structure. Just her.
So I did what I always do when something doesn't exist: I built it.
Because if I was feeling this way, I knew other women were too.
I've spent my career working on women's issues around the world — sitting with women in communities across Africa, Asia, Latin America, and here at home in Canada — listening to what their lives actually look like and what they need. Only Hearts Club is, in many ways, the most personal expression of that work.
